Goodbye Atlantic Buoy: We'll Miss You!

I'm reluctantly declaring Atlantic Buoy dead. Sporadic comms followed by silence leads me to believe the buoy succumbed to the sea. It lasted much longer than I expected and proved that off-the-shelf Arduino components could reliably work for an extended period in the ocean.

Check the main page in the coming weeks for updates on the pair of V3 buoys planned for deployment to the Gulf of Mexico and Hawaii. These buoys have AIS receivers which should make following them a little more fun. If you want to be notified when they are deployed, use the Contact page to send me a note.
