Maker Buoys Helping Nature

A batch of the Maker Buoy open source drifting buoys (https://github.com/wjpavalko/Maker-Buoy) will be used by The Ocean Cleanup foundation (https://www.theoceancleanup.com/system001/) to monitor the effectiveness of their ocean cleanup system. The devices will be used to simulate the movement of ocean plastics during system testing in the Pacific this fall.
